National Team Program Selection Camp – Bouldering
The CEC is pleased to announce the dates and location of the National Team Program Selection Camp for Bouldering. This announcement also includes some logistical details.

April 3-5/ 2019
Gneiss Climbing -Kelowna, BC
Arrival Date in Kelowna is April 2.
The CEC has contracted Tonde Katiyo and Simon Parton as the principle routesetters for this important selection event.
The camp will include:
- Physical Testing.
- Instructional Sessions
- Competition Strategy.
- Technical Aspects of World Cup Bouldering Styles.
- Mental Performance.
- Movement and Skills Evaluations.
- 2 competition simulations.
This camp is for athletes selected to the 2019 National Team Program. Invitations are based on published National Team Program Selection Criteria.
The CEC will employ a cost sharing model for this camp. All attendees will pay the same camp fee regardless of geographic location.
The cost will be between $500-$600 total for each athlete. The exact cost cannot be determined until all NTP selections have been made after Open Boulder Nationals.
Camp fees will include:
- Transportation (air and/or ground) and accommodation.
- All selection camp sessions.
