All CEC competitions are now open for registration. Here is the registration process.
1/ All those qualified and wishing to compete in a CEC competition in 2019, Youth Boulder Nationals, Open Boulder National and/or Lead Speed Nationals, must complete the following;
-Register as a user at http://member.climbingcanada.ca
– sign the online waiver
– Purchase a CEC competition license (except Affiliated Foreign Nationals)
– Apply for the selected competition.
All applications will be held pending approval of the High Performance Director or event Technical Director.
2/ Registration will be approved by the HPC and/or TD when final results and quotas are submitted by the PSOs or non-PSO qualifying event organizers.
PSOs should email their comp results and quotas to Andrew Wilson, email@example.com
** Affiliated Foreign Nationals SHOULD NOT be on this list.**
Affiliated FNs must apply through their home country NSO.
NON-PSO athletes who qualified in a NON-PSO qualifying event and Affiliated Foreign National should also register on the site and notify Greg Locke, firstname.lastname@example.org
3/ When the application is approved athletes will receive an email notification and at that time they may pay the competition fee on the CEC registration site. Where fees have already been paid and an application is denied, a refund will be issued.
5/ Those who cannot pay online for whatever reason should contact Jeannine Mallett, email@example.com for alternative payment method …but you still have to register on the site, complete the waiver and register for the competition so we can maintain the records.
Do you qualify?
* To qualify for CEC Youth Boulder Nationals and CEC Lead and Speed Nationals an athlete must have met their provincial PSO qualification process or be a PSO extra quota; OR finished 8th place or better in a recognized NON-PSO qualifying event. Affiliated Foreign Nationals cannot qualify through this process. Please see the CEC Foreign Nationals Policy for more information.
** To qualify for CEC Open Boulder Nationals an athlete must have competed in a PSO provincial championship or a NON-PSO qualifying event.
*** Youth athletes (Youth A and Junior) who have competed in a PSO Provincial Championship or a NON-PSO qualifying event are also eligible of CEC Open Boulder Nationals.
