The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) hosts an annual Youth World Championships for athletes in categories Youth B, Youth A, and Junior. This event usually takes place in August. bust at the time of this post, the IFSC hasn’t announced dates and location.
CEC can qualify up to 3 athletes per category, per discipline, per gender. Qualification details are available here. (2024 Information to be added shortly)
As we anticipate a big team of Canadian athletes attending this event, we must ensure the recruitment of a big team of Canadian Coaches and Chaperones! CEC is calling for applications for the following volunteer positions:
Youth Team National Head Coach (Women’s Team)
Youth Team National Head Coach (Men’s Team)
Up to 4 Youth Team Assistant Coaches / Chaperons
